ESS4772 Ultra-Thin Platinum Cured Silicone Now Available

In an effort to have readily available inventory of high performance ultra-thin silicone, Stockwell Elastomerics has developed a new product family to satisfy the demands of the advanced and emerging technology sector. The ESS4722 product family is an ultra-thin, platinum cured, solid silicone that is available in thicknesses ranging from 0.010” to 0.125”. This material is immediately available in 20A, 30A, and 40A durometer to satisfy the needs of low closure force applications. For identification and functional purposes, this material is available in black, off-white, and translucent. The high purity platinum catalyst delivers an exceptional ultra-thin material option for applications sensitive to volatile compounds.

The ESS4722 solid silicone allows for IP67 level sealing capability when implemented with a well-designed housing. As a result of ESS4722’s excellent compression set resistance and its capability to withstand strenuous environmental conditions, enclosures with ESS4722 sealing can expect consistent and reliable results over the lifetime of the product.
